Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue.

It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage can help you relax, give you more energy, and may help after an injury. Swedish massage involves long, kneading strokes combined with rhythmic tapping strokes and movement of the joints. This type of massage targets the uppermost layer of muscles and aims to relieve muscle tension.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is specifically tailored to different sports and sporting injuries. It is not a relaxing form of massage and can often be quite strenuous. It works by stretching tight muscles, stimulating inactive muscles and improving the condition of the soft tissue.

Acupressure Massage

Acupressure is a manual therapy technique that is used to relieve pain and muscle tension. Acupressure is performed using fingers gradually pressing onto key points around the body to simulate pain relief and muscle relaxation. The acupressure technique is used on trigger points within muscles and soft tissues.

Ashiatsu Massage

Ashiatsu massage is a unique technique where our specially educated massage therapists use their feet to apply deep pressure to your body. It's often called a barefoot massage. Our therapists' methods allow the deep tissues, joints, and muscles to be massaged while easing the nervous system.

Prenatal Massage

Unlike regular massage, prenatal massage takes extra precautions to make it safe for pregnancy, like laying on your side rather than on your stomach and providing you with extra pillows for holding in your arms and between your legs for balance, and avoiding certain areas of the body where extra pressure might cause discomfort or harm to the pregnant person or fetus.

Vacuum Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. Cupping leaves temporary marks on the skin. The origin of these marks should be explained to health care providers so that they won't be mistaken for signs of physical abuse. Caution: Cupping is not recommended if you have diabetes, anemia, a pacemaker, bleeding disorders like hemophilia, blood clotting problems, like deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or a history of strokes, cardiovascular disease, skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis, and seizures (epilepsy).

GUA SHA (Chinese Detoxify)

Gua Sha is to scrape the skin with a smooth gua sha stone or tool to invigorate blood flow, release heat-toxins, stimulate lymphatic drainage, activate various points of the body, and bring helpful cells to the area by stimulating an immune response. Sometimes this action creates some discoloration on the skin, which can look dramatic.
